I have had my I have been in the insurance business a little over 7 years now. Since I was 17, I am 24 now. I will be 25 in November so in a couple of month would make it 8years. So yeah it took me sometime to figure out what I really wanted to do my license. But I feel blessed for having this license and now I look forward being my own independent agent with it.
I have been through the door to door scenarios selling life insurance to call centers sales selling Medicare Plan, supplements plan, Medicaid product with all the Major carriers out there, and also sold ancillaries, like dental, Vision, heart and stroke plans including some Obama care products with other locations doing combinations of walk-in and selling on the phone.
I was really excited when I heard about the company by one of my former co-worker. So I decide to research them, couple of days later I made my mind to contact them through different avenues. I tried calling to get some information because open enrollment was coming. So I was proactive to get some info also start with the application processes. Each contact keeps referring to the same recruiter. Even the licensing couldn’t give any information on how to apply, they all kept transferring to the same recruiter (Joe Cocuzza – something). Took him 3 weeks after my persistence to contact him.
The interview process felt like cherry picking or he might just be racist, which ever it is, I don’t think this guy is going to make the company grow. He is slow to respond, lazy, and bias.
I was not qualified because I didn’t have up to a year selling ACA. Lame! – The website says we are hiring New Agents.
I was appointed for a year to sell ACA but I was focusing on selling Medicare, then after that I sold ACA (Obama Care) products. – Even if I don’t have ACA experience would NON- license Agents have the experience.
…AND Oh! – There’s no 1 year ACA requirement on the job…

I’m just surprise this lazy buffoon is made the sole recruiter for the company.
If he is the only way agent can work with the company then YOUR growth is definitely will be slow or no growth at all. Agent fade away, things happen, this biased color cherry picking moron is not going to make you grow.
Get someone who knows insurance and insurance agents.

Keep your captive employment. It’s for those who don’t know how to grow anyways
