We have had a credit cards since 1997. I called to make a pymt today and tried (3 times) to use the automated system and finally asked fot representative. Finally got connected and pd our bill of $24.66. She said she would waive $10 for not using the automated system. I said Thank You since their system wouldn't recognize our acct#.

Told her I was going to CA to see our sons and she said if I was going out of state, she would need to talk to the primary card holder. Told her my husband had passed last mo and I was going to his Memorial. She said they would have to close the acct - told her we had been with Chevron since 1997. She said I could reapply - I just needed to go into any Chevron station and pick up an application and submit it.

It's really unfortunate that after being with Chevron for almost 20 yrs - this is their solution. Being a loyal customer doesn't seem to make any difference anymore.

Well Chevron, you don't have to worry about our acct any longer as I will not do any more bus with you.
